Free Accounts Receivable Aging Report

Group unpaid invoice balances into current, 1–30, 31–60, 61–90 and 90+ day buckets without uploading a customer list.

An accounts receivable aging report organizes open invoices by how long they have been overdue. It makes collection risk visible: a balance in the 90+ day bucket usually needs a different response from an invoice that is not due yet.

Add invoices above or use records already saved in the invoice tracker. Both pages read the same private browser data, so updating a payment immediately updates the aging totals.

How A/R aging buckets work

Current means the balance is unpaid but not past its due date. After the due date, this report places it in 1–30, 31–60, 61–90 or 90+ days overdue. The age is calculated from the invoice due date, not the issue date.

Aging schedules sometimes use different cutoffs or age from the invoice date. Use one method consistently and document it when comparing this report with an accounting system.

How to use an invoice aging report

Review the oldest and largest balances first, then verify whether the customer received the invoice, has disputed it or promised a payment date. A report helps prioritize follow-up; it does not explain why an invoice is unpaid.

Export the CSV for a dated snapshot. Reconcile totals against your accounting records before using the report for financial statements, lending or tax work.

Private does not mean permanent

The tracker deliberately has no server account. Export the CSV regularly and retain your invoices and accounting records in an appropriate backup system.

Frequently asked questions

What does A/R aging mean?

Accounts receivable aging is the process of grouping unpaid customer balances by the number of days they are past due.

Is the invoice date or due date used for aging?

This tool ages balances from the due date. That directly measures how long the promised payment date has passed.

Are partially paid invoices included?

Yes. Only the remaining balance is included in the aging bucket and report total.

Does a paid invoice appear in the aging report?

No. Fully paid invoices remain in the shared tracker but are excluded from open receivables and aging buckets.
